Welcome to CalcNotebook. These terms explain the ground rules for using our calculators, tools, guides and widgets (the "Service"). By using the site, you agree to them. We've kept them short and readable — no surprises.

What CalcNotebook is

CalcNotebook provides free online calculators and everyday tools. Everything runs in your browser: the numbers you type stay on your device and are not sent to our servers. You don't need an account, and we don't ask you to sign up.

Not professional advice

Our calculators, results and guides are for general information and education only. They are not financial, investment, tax, legal, medical or other professional advice, and they are not a substitute for a qualified professional who knows your specific situation. This matters most on money and health tools (mortgages, loans, BMI and the like): always confirm important decisions with a licensed adviser, lender or doctor before acting.

Accuracy and estimates

We work hard to keep our formulas correct, we cite our sources, and we show the maths so you can check it. Even so, results are estimates and may not reflect your exact circumstances, current rates, rounding, fees, taxes or local rules. Use them as a starting point, not a final answer. We make no warranty that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Acceptable use

You're welcome to use CalcNotebook for personal and commercial purposes. Please don't: attempt to disrupt or overload the Service; scrape it in a way that harms performance; present our results to others as professional advice; or use it for anything unlawful. Our embeddable widgets may be placed on other sites subject to the terms shown on the Widgets page, with the attribution link kept intact.

Intellectual property

The site design, text and original content are owned by CalcNotebook. You may share links and results freely, and embed our widgets with attribution. Please don't copy the content wholesale or pass it off as your own.

Third-party services and links

We use third-party services (for example Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Google AdSense once ads are enabled) and may link to external sites. We're not responsible for the content or practices of third parties; their own terms and privacy policies apply. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CalcNotebook is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of — or reliance on — the Service or its results, including decisions made based on a calculation. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site evolves; the "last updated" date above will change. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
